The AIA Environmental Accounting Platform has been updated to reflect changes to the National Greenhouse Accounts emissions factors, based on recommendations from the EAP Technical Advisory Panel.

The AIA Environmental Accounting Platform (EAP) has robust governance processes to ensure it remains on the cutting edge of science and research and stays up-to-date with relevant standards and protocols.

This includes an EAP Technical Advisory Panel, which is made up of leading Australian experts in GHG accounting, emissions reductions, soil carbon management and climate science.

Detailed information about the emissions factor changes are available on the EAP website.

The EAP has also been updated to be consistent with the latest versions of the GAF Tools recently published on the Primary Industries Climate Challenges Centre website.

Carbon calculation and other providers who are integrated with the EAP automatically have access to these latest updates.

The AIA EAP can be used by service providers, supply chain, banks, financial institutions and others, who can integrate with the platform to provide their customers with a common, consistent, and standardised approach to carbon calculations.

Organisations interested in integrating with the EAP should contact AIA via contact@aginnovationaustralia.com.au

Producers and growers can access the EAP via www.aiaeap.com or ask their provider if they are powered by the AIA Environmental Accounting Platform.
